i went to this local joint to eat lunch today. at the end of my meal, i poured my remaining tea in a to-go cup i had grabbed at the counter, and wrapped up a delicious cornmuffin for later. i looked up and the two older men that sat the entire meal at the table next to me were silently staring, and then offered me their muffins because i looked hungry (i think that has more to do with how sick i was last week). but i thanked them and we talked about food, custom tshirts, and banksy. people are swell sometimes.
